The Tea Room |
|
The first
is known as The Tea Room, because it was the first to be used when the
business opened. This is a spacious room with wood paneled walls heated by
a wood burner in winter. The room contains many interesting pictures,
drawings and other items collected by Sue over the years. Although not
blessed with extensive views of the surrounding countryside the room has a lovely
warm, welcoming atmosphere. |

The Conservatory |
|
The
Conservatory is the latest addition to the facilities at Stable Cottage
and is very popular with visitors. It gives beautiful vistas on three
sides and is a delightful place to take tea. It is used throughout the
year, even in winter when it is heated. |

The Gardens
|
|
The
landscaped garden is Sue's passion, and much spare time is spent in
developing and maintaining it. The lawns in front of, and below the
conservatory are used for serving teas in summer, and visitors are welcome
to take a stroll around the garden. It contains a wide variety of flowers,
shrubs, and trees, and there will be much of interest during most of the
year. Well behaved dogs on leads are permitted in the garden. |
